Mains water carries dissolved minerals — calcium, magnesium, salts. In a process they scale heat exchangers and nozzles, shift a dilution, and leave a film on anything they dry on.
We take them out in two stages. Reverse osmosis removes the bulk; deionising resin removes what the membrane leaves. The result reads zero on a TDS meter, and behaves the same way in your process every time it arrives.

Food and drink processing
Mains water brings dissolved minerals into every stage of a process — rinse, clean-in-place, steam raising, product make-up. Purified water removes that variable, so a batch behaves the same on Friday as it did on Monday.

Dental practices
Autoclave manufacturers specify distilled or deionised feed water for a reason: mains water scales the chamber and the reservoir, and scale is a common cause of a steriliser failing its test.

Manufacturing and engineering
Coolant mixed with hard water drops out of emulsion and shortens tool life. Parts washing with mains water leaves a mineral film on everything it dries on. Purified water takes both problems off the list.

Window and solar cleaning
The original pure water market, and still a large part of what leaves the plant. Water-fed pole work only functions because the water is pure — take the minerals out and glass dries clear on its own, with no scrim and no second visit.

What is purified water, exactly?
